Why it matters for payouts
When a duty closes in the app, the trip data behind it is already agreed: timings, route, distance and extras with proofs. The payout is computed from that data against the vendor rate card, so what the vendor expects and what the platform pays match by default.
That also protects the vendor. An unrecorded waiting period or an extra hour that would have gone unbilled on paper is captured automatically and paid.
